Activity Log
The Activity log is a running history of everything that’s happened to each domain - every detected change, alongside the actions you’ve taken. When something looks off, this is where to find out exactly what changed and when, not just that it did.
Available on Pro and Agency.
What gets logged
Section titled “What gets logged”Every change Expirity detects during monitoring is recorded as an event, including:
- Expiry date changes (renewals or corrections)
- SSL status transitions, issuer changes, and certificate renewals
- DNS record additions and removals, DNSSEC transitions, SPF/DMARC changes
- Registrar and nameserver changes
Alongside monitoring events, user actions are also logged: adding a domain, deleting a domain, and pausing or resuming monitoring.
Reading an event
Section titled “Reading an event”Each event shows what changed, the previous value, and the new value - for example, a nameserver change shows the full old and new nameserver list, not just “nameservers changed.”
Filtering
Section titled “Filtering”Filter the log by domain, type of event, and - on Agency - by client, to narrow down to exactly what you’re investigating.
Retention
Section titled “Retention”Activity history is retained for 30 days on Starter and 365 days on Pro and Agency.
Paused domains
Section titled “Paused domains”When monitoring is paused on a domain, no new monitoring events are generated for it - but its existing history remains visible, and pause/resume actions themselves are logged so you can see when and how long a domain went unmonitored.
